That was A MONDAY EVENING............. I have always hated MONDAY as that is the first day of the week and that also coaxed me to start up a commuity on orkut called I HATE MONDAY MORNING...(And surprisingly it already has 500+ members ... reiterating the fact that s many ppl believein this maxim)....But this was no ordinary day.. it was MONDAY the 24th ... The first final of T20 The first WC final between India and Pak.... and The firstWC final where the average age of the Indian players was less than 24 years... India has the reputation of defeating pakis in all the WC matches and the way they thrashed the 2 greatest teams -SA and Mighty Australia..It was amazing so a lil of hope was somewhere in my heart... We Indians are Myrimidons of Cricket and I was no different ... I folowed cricket .. although never knew the naunces and the technicalities but still loved the game ... Although I stopped watching the match when India lost so badly in 2003 finals against Australia and then my ide...

PENURY of MIND is what may be offered by the Genius. I have been an ardent fan of RGV ... and the unconventional names that he uses for his Movies..... Who would dare to name the movie as D or Abb Takk Chappan or BHOOT... but he does and that justifies the script, only to make us believe that this factory works on scripts and not just masala... 'Kitne aadmi the', any guesses for the name of the movie...... Yes it is in fact SHOLAY the blockbuster of 70's that still have takers like me who can watch the movie several number of times..... In his interviews several times Mr Amitabh bacchan has expressed his interest for playing Gabbar Singh.. And not everyones dreams become reality.... Although this doesnt hold good for a certain AB....All his wishes come true..Lucky man indeed.. So The stage was all set for the remake of the movie-Sholay and in several interviews that i have seen RGV has this to say- This is my interpretaton of the classic.. Hmmm.... Petrified by the reviews ...
