Taare zameen parr- Brave effort

The name of the movie says it all... taare zameen parr.. I think this movie opens our eyes to ourselves. When we were kids we would also see the beauty i rain drops and would talk to the pets -be it a dog or a gold fish. We would never bring in the logic in each and every situation. The best part of the movie is how well the audience accepts and relates to the situation. Dyslexia as a disease is handled and dealt with really nicely. This piece of art is really praiseworthy, but for me and for the other segment of population -middle class population the solution seems to be far fetched...

If the child is not a performer, obviously as per Darwin's theory shall perish, hence there is no option for him/her , but to be a performer. There needs to be a balance : A painter, but a good mathematician; a singer but a good historian as well... Because in this run to succeed in the maddening crowd no-one but the best survives and for each parent, their child needs to be the best- Thus , more than anything for child and parent, its just a vicious circle.

However I salute the brave effort of Aamir Khan to atleast touch a sensitive topic as this one...

Cheers to the originality (I believe that TZP is not inspired by a Hollywood, Tollywood, Lollywood and the likes)...!!!!

Alfred Hitchcock Presents  Alfred Hitchcock is one of my favorite directors ever. The way his stories were weaved in a day-to-day life of the people - read a person bed-ridden and just watching out of window to see what going on in his neighborhood in critically acclaimed "Rear Window" or a dedicated son to his mother in "Psycho". Alfred Hitchcock Presents is an American Television anthology series. Each episode was around 25-26 mins long (Seasons 1-7) and 49-50 mins (Seasons 8-10). I watched the entire series on Netflix in USA. IMDb rates the series as 8.6. It begins with a silhouette of the master director and an eerie music playing in the background. It is well-known for its opening sequence. Such was the impact of the series that the episodes were recreated in the 1980's. My Rating - 9 and a thumbs up :)

From Daughter to Mom - A journey of generations!!!

its been long since I wrote my blog..however there's so much happening so soon that unable to jot them down.. Aarna is now all grown up.. throwing her tantrums in one moment... saying" i love u mom" in the other instant... Changing her shoes every now and then... and finally painting those lips with my lipcolors.(It all started with kajal)... Every job has a 2 day off in a week, but since june 2009, there is no off for me.. each day a challenge.. each day a new teaching.. n penning these few lines on the mothers day see the role reversal of sorts..
